As a student, throughout secondary school and my first year at the University of Warwick I have found myself constantly correcting other peoples’ work, without giving much thought to the potential of how this talent could be expanded. Reading over a variety of essays and dissertations has allowed me to learn the different ways in which people write and adapt to their style when it comes to editing and improving grammar.
As a student, I also have a sufficient lack of funds which is why I decided to set up this business which I intend to keep running throughout my second year of university. Having achieved 3 As at A level, including one in English Literature, I have essentially internalised what it is that exam boards, teachers and tutors look for in an essay. It is important to recognise how much of a difference grammar and sentence structure make in an essay and how it can boost it to the next grade. A second opinion is effectively quality control and is essential in allowing an essay to fulfil its potential.
